SR20 work needed??? Houston, TX??
If anyone needs some assistance with their engine, or just don't feel like putting together/ in, shoot me a PM. I'm offically unemployed and it feels like crap, I dunno what happened to tech pay at shops, but its shit now even though labor rate has risen. $20 or less pr Hr. So if you have a task that needs to be done. I do have my own place to work on cars 1,500sq ft with an engine room (yes it has AC now.. LUCKY ME), but I must stress, it is not a business, I in no way want to turn it into one, meaning all parts you purchase, even fluids etc. I do appointments only, and I will let you know when its good to come by. If you want me to go check out the car, better pay for my gas and at least an hour of labor up front. You run out of funds, your car goes outside and sits unless it's special. I have my own personal wrecker service that is a car guy and can tow your slammed vehicle from anywhere, just have to give me a day notice before you need it picked up. I will give everything I do in writing and take notes, I will provide pics and a full reciept showing what work was done and when. I will take paypal payments if you'd rather pay like that, but will charge fees. I'm pretty reasonable and not some "mexican shop". I have access to alldata so I know what labor rates should be, and will charge accordingly. Just help a fellow out. I already have a full shop until mid next month, but can do 2 day jobs, most of them are full engine rebuilds and wiring harnesses. Please be considerate of time and I'll be considerate about your money. Even if you find a sweet deal on a car and you need to flip it, I have sources for anything for any car, I do used parts if you pay for my time to remove it from junkyard, but usually cost is cheap. Just shoot me PMs and I'll see if I can help you out. I will not post my phone number since I only want forum members right now. Referers to me will earn benefits and such.

this is old pic, but the size is what I wanted to show.

I am employed again, but I am still able to do engine repairs etc. If you have to get your SR back up and running and you think it might be a minor thing, bring it by my place and I'll do a proper Inspection/tear down and let you know what actions you should take to get it running again. If I say it's really trashed and not worth repairing, there is a scrap place down the road and I usually get about $60 per dismantled SR I bring him, pans, crank, cams, and all. Cesar and Lam dropped off their VVL short blocks for me to take a look at, and I have a RWD converted S13 SR20DET that is getting his engine put back in this week. So don't be afraid to give me a call and come take a look at your engine. I have every resource to do any machine work you can think of. You can use your own machinist if you'd like, but any machine work must be paid up front when it's complete. I'll have more pics up and such in the coming weeks, but shoot me a PM with questions.

MOVING TO A LARGER SHOP END OF THE MONTH DOWN THE ROAD!!!! SO EXCITED!!! I have a whole section to myself, and it has a huge garage area that is completely separate from my engine assembly section and the guy that I am joining in runs a complete custom paint shop with booth and all. He's very talented and we both click. We have to clean up shop, so I will be taking pics of the new shop instead of my current hole in the wall. We have a show room, lounge area, bathrooms, and the whole shop has AC in it. Also he fabricates so possibly my Drag B13 will get some work done to its chassis.

Ughh... I hate cleaning up after old businesses... what I've done so far to the other side of the shop. Total building size is 3,200sq ft. I have stuff stored in my area right now since the other garage door has a broken spring and we're waiting to get it repaired. But I'll take some more photos of it once it's cleaned up a little more. Super excited about getting it finally.

that whole wooden room you see if getting torn down tomorrow, so if you need timber etc, please shoot me a PM. Thats just one side, the other side is my engine building bay, and also the lounge area and showroom so people can actually see what we do and purchase parts etc for their SRs. I will have several SR block already machined and ready to be built. Also air brushed valve covers and other dress up for your unique engine. I have lots to buy in a couple months, but at least I have a good place to do work out of, tired of not having a proper showroom and engine building room that is A/Ced. Wish me luck!
