Yea the cops would have ran your license plate and it would have came up if it was towed or impounded or repossessed.

The bad part is the new things thieves are doing. They are using tow trucks to steal cars so noone thinks anything of it and not calling them in. They the strip and sell parts. Go check local tow yards in person.

Does the campus have cameras? If so have them checked.

Not necessarily, if its just within a few hours it could take a little time for a tow company to enter the info,,find out what company tows for the school and find out if they towed it. If your girl was late and parking was scarce who knows where she parked...

And...as soon as you said your girl drove the car, that's the first thing that popped into my head.

She parked under a ligh close to the door and there is a security guard patrolling the parking lot. She called the school and they didn't tow it. I feel so lost and violated!
