Thread: DFW AutoX and Time Trials

Ok I know none of you guys go to any of these events... because I am at all of them and don't see you.

Come out and have some fun. At the events that will allow it I will give any of you guys a ride for a pass or 2. Come out and race. If you are scared come out and watch, catch a ride, then run away.

Calendar of events

I recommend coming out to the NTAXS, BMW, Texas Time Trial, and PCA events. They all are a little different. If you want ALOT of seat time try to get in one of the Texas Time trial events. I hit speeds in the 90s at the texas time trial courses in the miata. The last BMW event a bunch of 350z's (some turbo and some with race tires) came out... I beat them all in my miata on 205 wide street tires... So don't feel bad when you are slow, you can come out and beat the Z guys too.

As soon as reg opens will sign up for:
July 24 NTAXS
August 7 BMW

I don't do SCCA because you don't get much seat time for your money and classing system sux.

id like to go sometime. but my s13 is set up for sliding, and my b13 needs a bit more suspension!

I'd like to see what a B13 could do. Doesn't have to be super fancy suspension to run. Just have to make sure everything is in good condition or you will find problems quick.

ill keep up with your event dates and ill try to make one here in a few short months. still gotta get the car tuned and stuff. last time i got to drive it hard 1st and 2nd gear were pointless so im sure im going to be super slow.

Spray the fronts down with water after every run to cool them down too.

Ok just to poke at you guys.... A KIA RIO is showing up for the AutoX on the 24th. He has come out before and been way off the pace of everybody else. You could possibly beat him if you come out Jeremy. And if you don't I promise not to not get Cliff to post the results as a forum announcement.

Ill have to go before I buy the pistol so I don't kill myself if he beats me....
