Thread: Kentucky NX owners?

Hey guys,

Looks like Performance plus is willing to make us parcel shelf pivots (like the ones made years ago, that dont snap easily like ours do). I have a set of non broken ones but it doesn't make sense to mail from canada all the way to kentucky, back to canada, and then purchase a set. Customs takes long enough as it is.

Long story short:
Is there an nx owner who is willing to send them their parcel shelf pivots for the betterment of all nx owners on the forum?

I'll even paypal you the $1.25 it takes to mail them the parts if you really want

I'm not in KY but I have a few extra of the clips that go on the strut covers(those are the ones we're talking about right?)
(FYI those are like $1.50ea new from the dealer)

Unfortunately the little rods on the parcel shelf would have to be drilled out, which I wouldn't mind doing to mine if P+ is going to make a full bolt on replacement

"The parcel shelf is a pain in the ass, and when you get it fixed treat it kindly.

On the parcel shelf itsself there are 2 "prongs" on the bottom of the shelf on either side. The "prongs" slip into clips that are attached to the strut tower covers. The clips are connected to the strut tower covers with 1 screw each.

The strings on the parcel shelf are hooked around 2 short "prongs" that poke out from the sides of the hatch door. The "prongs" on the hatch just pop into place

All 3 parts are prone to breaking, EASILY.
The "prongs" on the shelf, the clips on the strut tower cover, and the "prongs" on the hatch door.

I didn't take Can's post as a yes or a no, so I haven't done anything.

FYI I'm running a carbon fiber hatch, I no longer have the clips that go one the hatch itself, where the parcel shelf stings attach.

He wants the hinges on the parcel shelf I think.

His first post say that, the parcel shelf pivots, but the "info post" says all three.

Is P+ willing to make all three or...? @canx2k

I think it was both in one unit so if you wanted to take the shelf off you'd remove the screws off one side or the other

So not the clips on the hatch. You want the clips by the strut tower and off the parcel shelf?
