Thread: Convention Caravan

It is time to crank this up. I'm guessing that Will is catching up with us at my house again. Anyone else from our part of the country coming with us?

Our route takes us from Atlanta north on I-75 to I-71 and then I-77 to the hotel. We will pass through the following major cities:
- Chattanooga and Knoxville, TN
- Lexington, KY
- Cincinnati, Ohio

I'm guessing that Cincinnati is about 5 hours to the hotel, so we need to hit Cincy for lunch, and be back on the road by noon. Going backwards from there we need to leave Atlanta by 5 am on Thursday to avoid any chance of morning rush hour traffic.

Yeah I think I'm def making this one. Just figuring out what I'm gonna drive also. Haven't looked at my route yet. But it should intersect with you guys at some point. Just don't wanna have to drive too far out of the way with gas the way it is. But caravaning is the best part!

Some of the FL guys (Miami?) look like they are going right through Columbia. I'll need to figure out if I'm doing that or something else.

I'm thinking about taking the trek........who's going from Atlanta and when are you all leaving.

Me, Kimme, and Gloria for sure. If Will is coming I think he will come up from FL and roll with us as well.

Beer for dinner at 5PM

As of right now, I'm heading up to Cleveland on the 29th to take a class at my companies headquarters. Gotta luv it....$0.38 per mile. That should cover all of my expenses for this trip.

Since no one else spoke up about joining our little caravan, we altered our route. We are going to go up through Charlotte and catch up with Ben and Katie (?) so neither of us is driving the entire distance alone. Planning to arrive Charlotte 7:30ish am for a gas and go. We will leave heading north no later than 8 am. Next planned stoppage is the Charleston, West Virginia area around noon. Back on the road again by 12:30 pm and should be at the hotel by 4.
