Thread: Nashville Resident, new to Sentras

Howdy

My name is Matt. I picked up a b13 SE-R a few months back as a Daily Driver. I just wanted to introduce myself. Its a fun little car, I enjoy it alot. I may be looking to do some stuff with it in the near future.

I have been an Rx7 guy for awhile now and currently own two of those as well, but they are not daily driver worthy.

Anyone else in the Nashville area?

Yea I saw the pics. I know Hiro and have ridden in his car which was rather impressive.

Nothing special about mine. 200k miles, black, okay shape. I got it as a daily but I am getting an itch to do stuff with it now.

I really need to repair the wheelbearing but do not really want to do it. I am always working on my rx7 too much.

If anyone wants to replace my wheel bearing let me know

i wouldnt mind to do your wheel bearing... if you don't mind me taking forever because i just learned how. :]

also did you buy your b13 from a guy named matt with really long hair? does it have a weird spot on one of the rear rocker panels that doesn't shine? is the front mount solid?

Yes i bought it from Matt. Its the same car. The spot on the back goes away after wax so you can't even tell anymore.


So the front engine mount is solid? I have been trying to track down engine vibration and wasnt sure where it was coming from.

Haha cool. That car got a bad knock or something, i don't remember exactly what happened, but he put a different engine in it. It's not jdm cause it has egr i think, but it is in pretty good shape if you pop the valve cover. i never looked at the odometer but that engine definitely doesn't have that many miles. I'd say the miles on the engine are unknown, but low.

and yeah i think it has some ghetto rigged solid front mount. he bought it like that.

i drove to Nashville (close suburb) to pick up my 1991 B13 2.5 years ago.. why would you live in the town they were built, and just be "new" to them??

ummm not everyone in nashville drives a nissan...

i thought everyone in Nashville not only drove a Nissan, but drove B13 Sentra's.. wtf??
