Atlanta Shop Question/Recommendation
Does anyone know of a shop in the Atlanta (or 100mi radius), GA that does good reliable blockwork, or honing, cleaning, etc etc. Or does Head work, cleaning, valve job, etc? (Preferably someone who has a torque plate for the SR20).

Thanks!

Please provide address and phone number.

Look up Zen Motors, they might be able to do that. Give them a call to see what the can do.

How about Sunbelt Engines? I think they were in Buford near Balanced Performance.

Sunbelt moved, but their machinist-Jeff- still works at the Balanced Performance complex. He works for Not On Main Street Garage. He does amazing work! Sunbelt has moved on from regular car stuff and does racing engines only. I think the address is 720 N Price Rd, Sugar Hill, GA. I don't have a zip or phone as I just drop by when I need something.

omg... that is the dumbest/funniest thing I've ever heard.

Did you try any of the shops that have been listed, or were these the shops that asked that question?

One placed me on infinite hold then told asked for the information so they can talk to their machinist (which was another shop). That was Zen. Big no there, sorry, I deal direct with the man that is about to take a knife to my engine. Another wanted to know what year Honda... (not from the above two). Balance gave me the number to one guy, who was cool though a little pricy, but never worked on an SR before.

I know of a few machinists but they are not Nissan guys and more of big block guys. Which I will use if needed, but was hoping to find a place I could grow to love and take my work to that was about imports. I did work with Red Star and the sort, but they moved. Eli was great and knew both the RB and SR engines. I need to find someone similar.
