Hey Guys i just picked up an engine over there at NAD Auto. They have a decent supply of high port DE's. I'd say maybe like 12-15. Unfortunately I was not able to take a good look at all of them. The engines at the bottom of the stack I couldn't get a look at because there were still like 4-5 engines on the top of the stack.

Currently they have 3 JDM roller rockers, 1 sr20ve, and 1 Avenir.

They will not do the free shipping to a residence. Only to a business. If you have a pickup truck then no biggie. I had to rent out a home depot truck so I did end up having to spend more cash then I wanted to.

There is a SR20DE that I peaked into the valve cover and it looked real real clean. The exterior also still has the golden coating on some of the metal parts. I didn't take it because it has an 8R headcode. I took the one that I felt would be the most likely candidate for a 10:1 motor.

Just some things to know. They take off all the accessories. The alternator, starter, and power steering pump do not come with the motor. Might be a deciding factor when comparison shopping with some of the Ebay vendors. It seems like in the ebay listings you do get this extra equipment.

What were the price ranges? Any type of Warranty?

$500 plus tax (6% tax) for a JDM Highport. Six month warranty. There are some conditions though otherwise the warranty is void.

You need to change over the valve cover gasket, main seals, thermostat, intake and exhaust manifolds. I think you could argue the manifold switchover though. Those things have nothing to do with the motor being internally sound. I'm not switching over the manifolds.

There is mention of a 20% restocking fee. I'm not sure if this would apply to a motor that is no good. Maybe it just applies when you return something and the motor is in good shape.

They offer free delivery in Atlanta metro to a shop.

Thanks. I may one be in need of a newer motor one day and driving to see it first is very worth while.

I called them like a month and a half ago. From what I remember they wanted $950 for VEs and Avenirs.

Give em a call to be sure. For VEs the ebay vendors are probably going to be the cheapest option.
