Thread: I propose all future changes by admin/ mods be posted up for preview

In a recent post I posted about the recent ban hammer that was dropped on the regions sections due to classifieds being posted. Granted this is against the rules, I feel that as it had been openly unenforced for years, that these changes made for an uninviting environment for those that have successuflly sold and bought via regional posts, and can raise alarms for newer members that were not aware of this rule.

I understand this forum is not ran as a Democracy, but when you make the above statement and then DELETE and entire thread, you only reinforce this behavior.

Nothing as it stands is up for debate. Nothing anyone says except for a few popular or well known members matters. I've donated to this site before. I have shared a wealth of knowledge with the members on this forum. I find it disgraceful admin/ mods will acts in such a way whether is be a new member or an old member.

I am disappointed in the current staff. A change needs to be made.

I'd like to point out, no one has been banned. No one has even been issued a warning or infraction of any type.
And I disagree with your characterization of this particular rule being openly unenforced for any period of time. I agree the staff was doing a horrible job of visiting those sections or noticing the threads there, but in my mind that's not exactly the same as how you've described it.

Also, in my mind you don't need to propose this because the forum already does this?
It is one of the many reasons this place is so great!

Confused...not posting classified in regional sections has been the case for quite a while. The amount of traffic has gone down over the past couple of years, which I'd guess is the case with moderators too. So, there will be posts that get through the cracks.

I don't understand the issue though. Are you upset that something was posted, against forum rules, and was deleted, as it should?

See here is the problem, where does it say you cannot sell in the regional section. So the TOS (http://www.sr20-forum.com/tos.php) state that regional selling is allowed. In the classified discussion thread I found minimal mention of region selling. In fact as recent as 2014 was regional selling talked about in regard to bringing it back.

So here we have a mod mass locking/ deleting threads in regards to rules that I have not been able to locate, and then (in my eyes) trying to styme further discussion on the matter by moving it to page 9 of a stickied thread and deleting all context of a conversation in the aforementioned post.
