Thread: Second recent server outage.

Hey guys, sorry about the trouble again. I'm told one of the log files filled up one of the server partitions and some clean-up was needed.

More news on the server front as plans get solidified.

It's been taking a long time recently to post replies... (30+ seconds)

Speed here slowed down a bit and that is one of the problems in posting replies. I feel it has been this way since the forum changed servers. (after the large blackout time, if you guys remember?)

I notice this on both the mobile phone and any other computer. Pretty weird, I never thought to bring it up and chalked it up to a slower server. This site loads slower than 99% of any other website I browse regardless of the device or internet connection.

I tried talking to Ben the other week on facebook, but his hands are tied, and he doesnt know enough about the back end of the server setup for use to recreate it and troubleshoot.

Yes, the problem has existed since two server black-outs ago. The e-mail issues started then too. The forum seems to work well for 5-30 minutes and then a huge hiccup happens that stalls page loads for ~20 seconds. We have a ticket on the issue, but the solution is likely recreating the server environment from scratch (this should fix the e-mail issues too). The problem with that right now is that Crim is the only one with that access. Plans are in the works to correct this, but they are admittedly slow going. I hear yah loud and clear. I want this fixed just as much as you guys do.

Shall we pull out metasploit, or cobalt strike?

It's the hackers! The server has been infiltrated before the security measures.
