Thread: Alternative to ME Rear Mounts

that's right. if you're looking to add more rear travel to your b14, i found an alternative to the very rare and hard to find, Motivational Engineering (ME) Rear Strut Mounts.

I got some custom rear pillowball mount made that added about an inch and a half to the travel... which is to much may I add LOL, 'cause now my rear beam hits my exhaust on large bumps . But I got exactly what I ordered. I just need to lower my bumpstop some os I don't hit the exhaust anymore.

I looked into the Tein mounts as well, but was crazy and decided I wanted something special. But the Teins should work great, plus they are pillowballs which is an added bonus over the ME mounts. And if you look hard you can find them for $150 shipped on the interweb.

i think tein is the only company that makes the rear mounts for b14's, other than ME.
