Idle issues
I just bought a 2000 Sentra SE with an SR20DE engine that has 123,000 miles. It idles fine at a cold start but when the idle settles at around 800 rpms it will occasionally drop to around 500 rpms and feel like its going to shut off but it doesnt. I looked all over the internet and it seems to be a common problem but no one had any real answers. I want to fix this before I start any kind of tuning. Ideas anyone?

A lot of us make the mistake of thinking the new people understand the forum or search function well/thus the no response to basic threads. Sorry about that.

But here, this'll help you with most things

It is, but when a few days pass, you grow impatient and say this forum sucks. In those four days of waiting you were doing, the searches could have been done.

If you did not get nasty, my comment would not have been made. Your edits are noticed. I hope you can enjoy the forum and find the help you need.
