Thread: Max hp on a B15 ?

Ok so went to the yunk yard and saw a B15 (2000 sentra se) with a SR20DE and i remember reading somewhere that those tranny hold better then any tranny, sorry im a n00b on nissan's. So my question is i have a B14 with and LSD tranny but im going turbo soon, so what tranny will be better for my project im thinking on goin between 300whps to a 350whp so can anyone help me on this i didnt know what section to post this so i assumed that the B15 section was the best. Thnkz.

2002 p11 and b15 trannys are both the same, only diff is the length of gears and final drive.

p11 is better suited because it has longer gears, better for turbo power.

i ran a p11 tranny on my 400whp set up.

So with that B15 tranny i can run a 350whp set up no problem then ?

absolutely. jsut gotta convert it over to cable from hydrolic.

only thing is first and second gear will be very short and useless. but for teh most part so is any fwd tranny when you make 300+ power.

Koo thnks so much man ill be definetly going back tomorrow to get that tranny then, and how hard is it to convert it to cable ? and mounting is in any easier ?

converting is very easy, mounts just like any other sr20 mounts to the motor and into the car.

thnks you so much man .. i knew i was right but since im not a big nissan guy i wasnt 100% sure, so im assuming this trannys are LSD as well right ? cause i have a 97 200sx with an LSD .. u think the B15 tranny is way better then what i have man ?

Or convert your car to Hydrolic clutch pedal.

I was looking at that right now but it looks like a lil too much work hehehe is it ?
