GTi-R intake cam in a Roller Rocker SR20DE
I bought a pair of GTi-R cams and installed the exhaust one in my previous Lowport, mild loopey idle and little gains. I have the intake cam in the garage and since a friend is getting a 2001 SE I think we will drop the intake cam and see if works just as the Highport cam in a Lowport engine.

In paper the stock roller rocker intake cam is 232º and 10mm lift, the GTi-R is 248º and 10mm lift, in paper is the same as going from lowport to highport intake cam.

My biggest concern is the area under the curve since the GTi-R cam is designed for a turbo engine.

If anyone have messed with something related let me know

You can only use GTi-R cams in a GTi-R head as it has solid lifters. You can only use RR cams in a RR head.

Neither of these cams work in Standard SR20 motors.

Gti-r is not a roller rocker, it is a solid lifter head. You can use gti-r cams as an upgrade to non roller rocker heads. It was the original Nismo cam upgrade. Not the best cam out there but will have decent gains. I do not think that they will work with the roller rocker engine though.
