problems help please

hello there my mom has a 04 sentra the problem is that the car will shut off by itself but when i jump started it eventually dies again so we just got a new battery a week after it wouldnt go faster than 20mph what can it be ??

If the battery keeps dying, it sounds like it could be the alternator. why won't it go faster than 20mph?
