Thread: 2001 SE Cold Air Intake suggestions

Since the major companies are no longer making these, can anyone suggest a decent intake? I've seen the ones on eBay but I was under the impression that GXE and SE intakes were different and they all say "SE/GXE". Maybe someone has some insight or experience with these and could help me out. I have a good K&N filter so the crappy cardboard filters won't be used for anything but target practice.

A used intake is not out of the question either but those seem to be difficult to find.

I wouldn't do an intake on the auto. I had one on my 2000 auto b15 and when I put the stock box back on the car had more TQ of the line. Save your money and remove the black box silancer near the driver side fog lamp. Thats what I did on my current b15.

It's not for the auto

you could get a 2002-2003 spec v intake and it'll fit. the maf sensor housings are the same. might have to do a little wiggling, but it will match up and work.

this is a knock off of the place racing one i used to have on my b15. it kinda 'wraps' around the battery.
