Damn belts squeeling like a virgin!!
This is driving me off the wall. Each morning, been cold in TX lately, yeah..I know hard to believe.

My belt squeeling loud early AM for about 2 minutes. These are brand new OEM belts. I made mistake spray those damn belt dressing on the first set, it was worsen. So I got a second OEM set, still same sound, over the alternator pulley and AC pulley. Im afraid to spray on anything else...any quick fix.

Should I hose the pulleys off with simple green..may be those belt dressing shit still on the pulleys groove, or just WD, Silicone on the belt.

I hate that belt dressing crap, gets rid of the squeak for about two days and then back it comes... I've been known to use a little bit of baby oil on my pulleys, worked much better. Don't know if it's good for them or not, but never hurt anything for me..

I would suggest try tightening the belts a bit and see if that helps. That's usually the problem from what I've seen. If that doesn't work it might actually be the pulley/shaft/bearing that is the culprit?

I've tightening it to the max.... It squeel for like one minute in the mornings or upon starting up...then quiet down. Is that the bearing? I've had to go back and clean that dressing spray crap. I spray some silicone spray on top of the belt..wonder if I should aim toward the pulley's groove?

Usually if you belt are making noise it's because they are to loose or they are to tight.

Mine squeals on a/c compressor start-up because the AC compressor I got had engine oil on it, so it got on the belt. I should clean it off.

I think if you go too tight that you might wear your bearings out on your accessories over a period of time.

You need new belts..

When rubber goes bad in belts it gets pretty hard and cracks and causes the slip on the pulleys. With fresh new belts the new rubber will catch better
