Thread: Early se-r tranny to 99 b14

Can an early model se-r tranny bolt up to a 99 b14 sr. (they do have the lsd right?) If so who's got one for sale or knows where i can get one.

yes it will bolt up.

check the clasifides

91-97 LSD
98-99 Non LSD

Yeah check local you pulls. It will save you about $300.

If you get the pre 98 LSD Trans you will have to get the driver side axle for an LSD equipped B14. Passenger side axle is the same.

Yeah I forgot about the different axles.

It will bolt up,but what about the C. A. Sensor? Wouldn't you have to take it off old transmission and put on the B13 trannies?

You will have to drill a hole for the Crank sensor and drill and tap a hole for the bolt, then space it with washers to get about 1/16" clearance ... I have done it a bunch of times ... you will want to turn the engine over by had to double check your clearance ....

dump question.....im kinda new..... will a b13, like the whole enging, tranny, harness, etc bold up on a b14? i have a b14 se and i wanna make it an Se-r.
