opinions 98 se
Hi guys im looking for a some opinions on a 98 sentra se, it is green and the body and interior are in good condition, the only thing im worried bout is the mileage, it has 199k on it, just wondering on what your opinions are on what to over for a car with that kind of mileage ? it seems to need a rear motor mount. i also have a couple questions

1. does this car with a LSD trans
2. will the b13 se-r prothane mounts fit ? im assuming they are the same ?

No LSD. Prothanes should fit IIRC. See if you can take the valve cover off to look inside the motor.

Whats the price also?

Any rust?

200k is not bad if it has a clean engine. It should run to 250k no prob.

If the car is not too expensive, you could always swap a new engine in

the guy is asking $2800, the body looks clean, where are the common places for rust ? i doubt he will want me tearing the valve cover off, i could prolly do a compression check.

Price seems a little steep for 200k body/engine. But the book value is 2,900. I think you could get it down to 2,500 or 2,600. Unless it's a friend hehe

Check this thread out, it has lots of rust pictures and locations: http://www.sr20forum.com/sentra-se/213126-post-your-rust.html

Under the engine bay

Rusted piping etc.

OMG! It's my long lost brother. Car looks really clean considering it has 200k. How many owners has it had? Is it unmolested? Get a carfax report for sure.
