B15 SE peformance
Well, I have decided to stay with the RR motor and keep it N/A. I know that's going to limit me power wise but I want to try to get as much out of it as I can. I plan on going with the S3Rs (why not) but other than that, I have some questions:

1) Is there any difference performance between the HKS and the Stromung exhausts?

2) Is there any benefit from going with a quality header such as the Fuji header?

N/A??? Go VE.

I have no idea on headers cause I thought all the cool B15's were VE or Turbo, or both. j/k lol

Thought about it but I'm not up for the whole b15/b14 ecu swap on top of the cost of the engine etc etc....maybe in the future Going to keep it simple in the meantime

did you say last night the strumong is 2.25 (i am pretty sure the stock piping is already 2.25?)? the hks is 2.36, and a lot cheaper. it's mandrel bent also. i don't see the point in spending the 200+ extra dollars for it, because this one sounds awesome.

Your just as limited on power with the RR than the regular DE, it actually has a little more potential. It's a good motor... n/a you will not have any problems cause its a beast. Most people have problems because they go lean and the piston ring lands aren't forgiving because they're closer to the top of the piston. Just don't detonate and lean it out. N/a you can hit 150+ on stock cams w/ just basic bolt ons. Some have hit more on stock cams

As long as your okay revving to 7k max and making tq a little sooner you will have fun with it.

I made 154 whp w/ the 2.5 ssac on stock roller cams.

There were some that were saying the HKS was as small as 2" at some bends

Yes, the diameter on the HKS is way too small, and is even around 2.125, rather than 2.25 (I measured mine with the proper tools). I did not measure at the bends, however.

I'm stuck with mine for now too. I see myself changing the hangers on a 2.5 Spec-V exhaust in the near future.

I would go with the Stromung if I were in your shoes.

oh ok, i never measured the entire thing. really is it going to make THAT much of a difference? well if you want to spend that much money on an exhaust then, go for it i guess

I'm coming from a Spec so I'm used to the early TQ and low redline

Don't hate because I'm not spending it on you

Is there a way to order the Stromung in 2.5"?
Anyone have any idea if they Fuji header would be that much better than say a 2.5" SSAC for my application?
