    Default KYB AGX part Number?

Hi everyone i am new here, i need some advices, i have a GA16 B13 Coupe and i am looking to upgrade my suspension, i have H&R Springs but the wheels are bumping a lot with stock struts, especially the rear wheels, so i need to replace struts with some KYB AGX.

Does anyone has the specific part number for KYB AGX for sentra b13? in the KYB Americas Website Catalog doesnt appear the # part, so if anyone has AGX please tell me that number for the four struts.

Thanks a lot and best regards

They are junk and KYB probably stopped making them after KYB got caught scalping on these exact part numbers you are searching for.

So, in that case, any suggestions for replacement? truth is i'm really tired of the bumping of the rear wheels with minor holes in the driveway, i know that the travel distance of the rear suspension in the b13s is very short, but i know here a lot of people that have found a solution for this issue.

    any other suggestions?

When I re-did my OEM suspension, I was relegated to KYB Excel-G or GR2, whatever they call them now. Simply because they were $50.00 from RockAuto and fit the rest of my OEM New parts that I purchased. Whatever units KYB got banged on for that lawsuit, it appears they are going Out-Of-Production, hence no more AGX for our lovely Sentra SE-R or NX2000 Or B14 SE/SE-R.

I am in the same predicament you are in with the rear of the 91-96 Infiniti G20. I cannot find OEM or Aftermarket rear upper spring seats, anywhere. I found one new one in Austria or Denmark for one LH side. I dunno what to do, besides install bespoke suspension from Fortune Auto that I am trying to avoid for that particular car because I purchased coilovers for another G20 that I have.

CSK is an option since we can use OEM cores, cut out the guts, and install at least Koni yellows, but that is a PITA task for most people. The choice is yours, it will be difficult to find AGXs and I would not purchase used components.

I had good luck with the GR2 struts on Eibach and Hyperco springs in the past. Ride will be smoother as result, but still on the soft side when pushing the car hard like a trackday or autocross.

One solid hit, blew out my front AGX with Hypercoils. The biggest problem with progressive rate springs is when they are compressed, the energy is stored in that progressive fashion. When they release, they release in that progressive fashion. I loved how the car was before I blew out the fronts on one hard hit. Coming around a blind turn, PennDot decided to build a trench and put no cones, warnings, or even a damn slow-down sign or anything. I had driven that road everyday from school and it just so happened to be the date they dug the hole was the week after I put the new suspension on. Blame me if you want, but I did not make the springs nor struts. The car made a terrible noise and handled differently every day since that hard hit. Poor fellar.

If on the track, I am sure they are dreamy.

Don't know if this was mentioned yet or not and I have not checked my own struts to see how affective it could be. Somewhere in this link they talk about cutting a section out of the base of the spring that doesn't align up properly with the strut.
