Fuel pump interchange?
I know that the B13 Sentra and NX share the same fuel pump. If I was hitting the local salvage yard, are there any other USDM cars I could source one from? 300zx, Altima, Maxima, B15 Sentra, etc. Anything else out there that would drop in? I think my local yard does have some B13s, if there is anything better I'd love to know.

I'm not concerned about increased flow or pressure (though that would be nice), but mainly want to have a backup should I need one for at the track.

Interested in this too....seems like the z32 pump is a popular choice. Not sure what the specs are on the NA one ,but I know the TwinTurbo one is a popular OEM choice for turbo sr20guys.

FAST shows the same part number for the GA & SR pump, and no interchange with other Nissan's.

Which would make sense if the specs on other models didn't match exactly. Another model may physically fit, but flow at a different rate, so it wouldn't be listed as compatible.

I've gone through a number of parts diagrams for various Nissan models, it's amazing how many different designs there are for fuel tanks... But from the sketches, I can't really see anything else that looks close to the pump/sender assembly as a whole for the B13, which ultimately would have been what I was after for a quick drop-in spare. For the pump itself, there may still be something that works, but they aren't making it easy to find.

I'm not looking forward to popping open a bunch of fuel tanks at the salvage yard... LOL

Do you really want a janky decade or two old fuel pump as a spare, when a new one ~$30?

Hmmm, pumps I've looked at were a lot more than $30. Where are you finding a decent unit that cheap?

But like I said, I'm actually looking for the whole sender/float/pump assembly as a unit, so if I have a failure at the track I can just pull the old parts and slap in the new in just a few minutes.

Rockauto:
BOSCH 68203 (68203:P) Fuel Pump Tank Seal Wholesaler Closeout - $ 7.04
PERFORMANCE ELECTRIC P21K Fuel Pump $ 28.79

If you want to have a complete swap out ready to go, maybe do a new pump with a used float, etc.
