Inner tie rod locking plate replacement
I know a lot of you have probably dealt with the hassle of removing this piece. I was hammering on mine for a while tonight (driver's side) and finally got the bugger out of the way. Problem is, I'm not replacing the inner tie rod, I just needed it off to get to the steering rack, and need to put the part back on.

I can straighten the old part and reuse it, but I know that most replacement tie rods come with a similar part, and I've been unable to find one separately. Short of getting one from Nissan, any suggestions on a better part that would be easier to deal with should it need to come off again?

Also thinking of just using some Permatex Blue thread lock, I've seen a number of folks with other types of cars use this, but I'm not sure that this is the right way to go since Nissan had that plate in there and didn't do that from the beginning. I certainly don't want this piece to back its way off.
