Thread: Header Fitment...

So I ordered an eBay header from a seller called kospeed2008 and it looks like the stud holes for where it bolts up to the exhaust ports on the engine are all wrong. None of them will line up. Trying to return that. To replace it I ordered an OBX setup and was wondering if anyone knows if this is an exact fit. I emailed the seller but I think I just got a form letter. I'm doing all of this in my driveway at home and I dont have the tools/time/money to modify it to fit. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

For the stock SR20DE? I have the OBX header and it lined up fine.

yeah i had the same thing happen to me before the holes on the header that the studs go in dont line up? what i did was shave off some of the holes you should be alright after that

I had to drill the holes out to make them larger on the one i got from kospeed

That's not good. The header primary bolts should at least match up. Usually that's the easy part, and the hard part is getting the down pipe to bolt up to the cat and meet the primaries

Thats why i didnt complain about it. haha 86 bucks. I wish i could afford something nicer but it will do for now

bore out the holes on the far sides of the manifold itll fit right in.wanna make it easier just remove your fans.id reccomend wrapping the headers due to close clearance with wires.downpipe to cat first.use a piece of wood n jam between downpipe and floor.bolt it up. better with extensions and universal joints.keeps your haircolor young lookin.hope this helps

Stick to SSAC or a used Hotshot. eBay headers are hit or miss!
