haha ok I try to be more detailed, well I thought it was smelling from the fuel filter I replaced not long ago but when I go and try smell near the fuel filter and the new hose I don't smell any gas but when I inside the car, I smell gas once n a while only. I haven't try smell near the Fuel Tank see if leaking. I thought it was the fuel cap but I don't smell any fuel from the Cap. I guess either my fuel line leaking somewhere or the Cover to the Fuel Pump? any thoughts?

Check the 1) fuel overflow hose, way up under the drivers side rear quarter panel, and the 2) o-ring on the gas tank access which is under your rear seat.

99% is one of the two.

Also, you need to "discover" the Search Function.

I did:

Search

Advanced Search

Thread Titles Only

"gas fumes"

Hit Enter.

And this was the results.

Both of the answers I just provided to you, are already in those two (2) threads. You could have had your answers faster, 0.02 seconds to be exact, and easier by doing a Search than by starting a new thread.

The Search Button is your friend. Make the acquaintance. Get familiar with how to Search.

This should help.

also might want to check the clamp on the fuel line that goes to the fuel pump , also located under the rear seat.

Absolutely incorrect thinking on your part. Let me once again point you in the correct direction.

You will definitely get more attention. Let me assure you my friend, it IS going to quickly become the type you do not want. You understand what I am telling you? Right now we are being very patient with you while you bumble around and start a new thread every ten damn minutes.

New tips? Seriously? These vehicles are a minimum of 19-years old. YOU are not going to magically discover anything new Mr. Newb. Not right now at least. All the "usual suspects" like "gas fumes" in your vehicle, we have already been there, done that, and wrote it up in the Information Library, a How To or Sticky.

Nor do we want a bunch of new threads, on subjects that are thoroughly and completely documented and known issues. That is WHY there is an Information Library, How To's and Stickys, and a Search Engine. So Newbs don't inundate our forum with tired-ass, same-old-same-old topics and threads.

I would politely and patiently request that you start utilizing that Manifesto I already posted for you. Reading the Information Library, looking over the How To's and Sticky's, and learning to use the SEARCH function to see what information is already covered.

Otherwise, that patience we are displaying is going to get worn out sir. And then things will become uncomfortably warm for you. We wouldn't want that, now would we?

Anyone have any idea why...

- My fan only works on high?
- Drivers door sags?
- Engine hesitates around 1.5k-3k at part throttle?
- Battery & brake light are on?
- Starter squeals?
- Engine chatters on start up?
- Trans pops out of 5th gear?
- There's water in my trunk?

I took it to a guy and he told me the car was possessed by demons and said I should have it exercised right away. I took it out and beat the hell out of it all day, but the problems still persist, and now my tires are bald. Anyone have any ideas? Help!
