Thread: Flashing Lights: Brake and Battery

Has this happened to anyone, brake and battery came on together and stay on then flicker then come off. They turn back on together when the car is running.

What could this mean.. bad ALT, loose battery cable, a fuse. I'm thinking the ALT is failing hopefully not.

Brake & Battery light = the classic B13 alternator failure mode. Of course, check the things you mentioned first, but you probably need to replace the alternator.
