filling up a stripped b15 trans.. :( help!?
I paid 1000 bucks for this thing from a forum member. my mechanic thats doing the work stripped out the fill plug/nut...

now my question is with the transmission installed on my b13ser with a sr20ve will the speedo sensor come in and out freely without hitting anything not letting it out. I could fill it threw the speedo hole? correct?
and these trans hold 3.0l right?

weld a extension into the fill plug & remove it, then get a new one

im afraid a welder would melt the transmission where the fill plug is.

You can use the speedo sensor opening to fill it. 4 quarts.

B13/14, P10, P11('99) 3.7-3.9 Liters per FSM. I don't see why the B15 tranny would be any different. But you should double-check.
