1993 sentra se-r ac issues?
I am about to pull my hair out on this one. I love driving the little se-r but i am trying to get the ac fixed before the Texas heat wave gets here this summer. So far i have replaced the ac compressor brand new oem. Ac worked great for 6 months then the ac line from compressor to condenser broke. I tried to aluminum weld the line where it busted 2 different times then ran dye through the line. Still is leaking so back to the drawing board. Nissan discontinued the line from the compressor to the condenser and as far as i know there are no aftermarket ones that i can find. Is there any other lines that line up that any body is aware of? What about the 1.6 line seen a few of those. Any help would be appreciated. Any universal lines that might work?

sounds like you have to do the R134A conversion. Is this the original AC?

Yes bought a brand new oem compressor spent like 500 on it this will be the second time i have replaced the compressor to condenser line also replaced the drier with a brand new one as well. Yes it was converted to 134a worked great for about 6 months then suddenly the ac line split right down the middle. I tried to weld and was not able to get her to stop leaking. Nissan discontinued the part so now its even harder to find a replacement. Tried ebay and the only one on there is for the 1.6 motor and not the sr2ode 2.0 . Tried to locate one with a local mechanic i know and he searched a junkyard database with no luck. Surely there is some sort of alternative out there that will work. Someone was telling me the old infinity g20 had the sr20de in it and that the hose would be the same but i have not confirmed that yet.

Is there really a difference between the 1.6 and 2.0 A/C systems...?
They look the same to me, compressors seem to be interchangeable, hell some people use the 1.6 ac line to clear the turbos in their cars.

Regardless if you're really itching for a 2.0 line, I removed all the A/C stuff from my NX and its sitting in my garage.

Where in Tx are you? I'm in Fort Worth.

And no, its not that hot yet, but I give it a month till the heat hits us

Those lines are not that hard to make, you just have to have the right material, and patience, as the bending takes time.

PM me and we'll see whats up.

Take your original line and go to the junkyard. About 7 years back my compressor went and I proceeded to pull out every a/c part out of my car. 2 years ago I moved to someplace hotter and so I went to the junkyard and pulled pieces off B13s, 14s, G20's, and maybe even a B15 to put a system back in. Most of the cars had a GA engine. Most of the fittings are the same size, but some cars have male endings in places others have female. Or the lines wrap a different way. Take yours to the junkyard, find one that looks the same, and then go get an O-ring kit from the store, bolt it up, and you're probably good to go!

If your talking about the a/c "hose" compressor to condensor high side, Napa sells those hose lines.. And I've seen them on eBay. Just input "sentra ac hose 91" they should all come up even for the low side is there.. Here's a link if it works I searched on my phone... http://shop.mobileweb.ebay.com/searchresults;PdsSession=1f961a021360a5aa83421c02ffe94c2c?kw=Sentra+ac+hose+91&x=0&y=0&cmd=SKW
