Picked up a B13 from a good friend on these forums...
Just bought RedDragun's B13 with a rod through the block (as a result of a serious of unfortunate events). I'm excited to get this thing running again and being a member of the SR20-Forum.

I ordered another SR20DET from Andreas, and a Clutch Masters FX-500, so all I really need now is a flywheel.

Working on pulling the motor out now, and will hopefully be ready to drop in the new motor when it gets here.

Also, for some reason I can't seem to get the drivers side door open. I believe something in the lock is messed up. You can't open the door from the inside or out. You guys have any ideas?

But that's pretty much it for now, just thought I would introduce myself.

I ordered the clutch from thmotorsports.com. It was $272 and shipping was free!

I'm probably just going to be getting a used SR16 flywheel.

....besides the 3.5 side exit exhaust (right out the front bumper), that usually has some sort of flame coming out of it, and isn't quite lol

I had problems with my b14 passenger door. Wound up being the bolts that hold the door latch machanism to the door were ripping, which was caused by door sag from shitty hinges. I know door sag is common on b14 but not sure about b13..so could that have caused u an issue? When it gets stuck I have to literally hold the inner door handle like I was gonna open it and give it a hard kick from the inside and it pops open.. then tighten down the bolts that hold the mechanism in the door (I had to add washers to the bolts since they literally had started ripping the sheet metal of the door).

That is very possible! I have noticed the door appears to sag, and like I said, it didn't seem to close right the last time I closed it. I'm trying this first thing in the morning!! Thanks!

Yes sir. My car is a beater, there might be an easier way. But, yeah a solid hard kick works for me to get it to open.. manually lock and unlock the door before you try, as sometimes the lock sticks as well because of shifted latch. I'm sure its not good on the door kicking it so hard, but if the holes for your hinges are starting to rip they only get worse anyways and its cheaper to buy a new door than fix the sheet metal.
