Pre-owned in the Classifieds.

They sell for 300'ish plus. Which is what they sold for BNIB. They do not depreciate and sell instantaneously.

Road Magnets are your other conventional spring option. A bit stiffer, and a linear rate spring vs. a more forgiving progressive rate on the Hyperco's.

Some folks like the RM's better, some like the Hypercos better. I'll give up a little precision, for the comfort factor with the Hypercos during daily driving.

You really cannot go wrong either way.

Hypercos are nice when they go with some adjustable gas shocks.

I'm primarily looking for hyperco Gen II's.

But regardless, I'll be getting KYB AGX's, Koni bumpstops.. and whatever spring I wind up with.

Thanks for the Info everyone!

Winner winner chicken dinner.

Find some upper mounts to try and maximize your suspension travel with that setup and you would be golden.

Thanks brother! Glad to hear approval. Always a good thing.
What upper strut mounts would you advise? Also are the camber plates worth touching. I'll just be DDing this car.

I honestly do not even know who makes upper mounts anymore. I got one of the last from Motivational Engineering when they made them in 2005....Someone else made them but they are on the forum blacklist and they suck. I think someone else began making them but I am not sure.

Camber is for racing. I think they would be pointless on a DD unless you get some serious coilovers.

Thanks for the information bro! Really appreciate it.

I'll try looking for some upper mounts here on the forum.

I'm also looking at Strut bars, sway bars, fender braces and maybe one of those LCA braces ( the 4 point gold ones). Do you have any experience with those?

I'm wondering what my clearance would be like with that on there.

I'm also pretty sure I'm going to get some Sportmax XXR 513 wheels.

I read on this thread- http://www.sr20forum.com/driveline-transmission/170794-b13-b14-b15-suspension-information.html-

That upgrading your wheels and tires is the most important aspect of the suspension and ride quality.

Just wondering if these wheels will be a great match for the AGX Hyperco, Koni setup.

thanks so much for everyone of you helping!

I am not familiar with those particular wheels, but you want to go with a 15x7 size and should try to find a wheel that weighs 12 pounds or less (The stockers are around 17 pounds). Light wheels will help acceleration and ride both.

Also, if I were you I would consider the custom shorted Koni strut insert option. The Konis cost more, are harder to install, and (most) are not externally adjustable, but I think the ride is far superior to the AGXs.

Ideally, you would be able to ride in a couple B13s to see what I am talking about. The convention would provide be a great chance to do that, or you could post to your regional forum to see if there is anyone close by.

Also, if you are using OEM sway bars, poly bushings are a good upgrade.

Good luck with your suspension.
