Has Anyone Put A 2001 Sentra Se Manifold On A B13 Sr20
i just recently got a 2001 manifold off a sentra se and i jus test fitted it . fits perfect on my sr20 B13 . i love how the trottle body sits on top and not on the bottom . what do u think of think

OPINIONS . Maybe An Install Guide If Someone Hows Done It Before

Info Giving Today(11-20-2010)
The Head The I Mounted The Manifold Is Off A 95-99 Sentra SeR
The Intake Manifold Is Off A 2001 Sentra Se

I Was False When i Thought I Had A Lowport . But The Head That I Used Is "Lowport"
My B13 Is HighPort .

if you have a 91-93 B13 with the original highport DE in it, the RR intake manifold is not going to fit. The lowport DE/RR's have completely different heads than the highports.

from your first post you stated that your throttle body sits low currently. If that is the case, you have a highport. The 94 B13's were the only ones that came with a lowport.

I believe you are confused. lol.

lowport = intake plenum and throttle body on top with intake runners going down (low) into the ports in the head
highport = intake plenum and throttle body on top with intake runners coming up (high) into the ports on the head.

Highport is a better design anyway for making power... Why would you want to swap in inferior equipment? Just because you like where the TB is located? lol

If this is correct, why is it that dropping in a highport intake cam in a lowport motor make more power? Remember, that's a stock cam going into newer DE and making more power? The DE head flows better, that's your answer. Nissan went to smaller cams in the lowport for emissions purposes, but the head itself is more effecient and that is why it's rated at the same power level.

But the lowport doesn't really make the same 140hp its really more like 137hp. The lowport has tons of potential and I think overall the design is an improvement but I think stock for stock there is a difference in power.

I would not bother swapping a rr manifold (which is different from a USDM lowport) onto a 91-93 B13 and I don't think it can work. Maybe you have a 94 B13 SE-R ??

again, that goes back to the bigger intake cam of the highport. I guess the only way to prove this would be to dyno two stock DE's back to back...and install a highport cam on the lowport. I'm sure someone did this back in day. lol.
