Thread: wilwood b14 brakes on a b13? conflicting information

Can somebody tell me if a Wilwood kit for a b14 will fit a b13? I've searched and don't see anything conclusive. Obviously wheels/offset are an issue, but are the brackets and everything else the same bolt up system? Answers are greatly appreciated! Danny

Oh, and can you run them with a spacer on stock b14 se-r wheels?

fronts are interchangeable for sure between b14 and b13

rears, i don't think so anyone know? i think with maxima rear brakes b13 uses older and b14 uses newer

Thanks for the link, it has a lot of useful information that will come in handy, but no answer to the similarity/differences of b14/b13 brake set ups.

So "cause4alarm" you say a fastbrake kit for a b14 (front) will bolt right up to a b13?, is the difference in 11" and 11.75" just about wheel size/clearance? any other issue I'm not considering? Thanks again.

It will bolt right up,but yes wheel clearance becomes an issue depening on size.

yes the difference between the 11" and 11.75" will be the wheel size required. 11" will clear most 15" rims and the 11.75" requires a 16" rim. I believe the b13 and b14 kits are the same but they have different p/ns on the fast brake web site. The only thing I can think of that would be different would be the adapter used to mount the caliper since the calipers are off the shelf willwood dynalites. I have the 11" sitting in a box awaiting install and a u13 master cylinder.
