1993 nissan Sentra SE-R
Alright guy's. allow me to introduce myself and my sentra. My name is rick, im 23 yrs old and im from southern California.

when i first bought this car it wasn't in the greatest condition. but after a few trips to the local junkyards. I have found the pieces that i needed to complete the interior. so heres what it looked like on day 1.

alright, so the first thing i did the day after i got it was clean the sr20de valve cover and engine bay using some purple degreaser cleaner and a used tooth brush we didnt need anymore.

heres what it looked like after i did that

then i proceeded to doing a full maintenance tune up which included the following: Disturbing cap/rotor, spark plugs/wires. oil change using a mobil 1 oil filter. and brake pad change. after that i was getting super great gas milage. about 230 on a full tank.

so, next thing i did was clean foogy headlights and painted the corner lights amber. i used 2 coats to get that nice look. i'll show you pictures of coat's 1 and 2

NO COAT:

COAT 1:

COAT 2:

After that i replace the torn seats with a nice set i found at the junkyard, picked up another shift stock shift boot. and vacuumed everything and thats where the car stands now.

take a look

My future plans include going with a NA set-up. buying a few basic bolt-ons like AEM coldair intake. Headers and a HKS Sport exhuast

thanks for checking out my classic. look for updates as my car progresses. i am always online so keep checking.

peace!

Glad to have you on the forum. Your ride is well on it's way. You and I have virtually the same amount of mileage on our cars. Best of luck with yer SE-R

Have fun with it. Classics are fun cars. Check your fuel situation though. I'm able to get around 320 out of a full tank. I could probably get closer to 350 if I drove super conservatively. Mostly highway miles of course.

I agree that your miles per tank sounds a little low. The first thing to check might be your O2 sensor given the age and condition of the car. There is a simple way to check it using the check engine light if you search the forums you can get detailed instructions on this.

Welcome, and

Enjoy the RIde.
