It would be interesting if they get banned like the R32's did in Australia. Very good marketing for Nissan if it happens. So good it gets banned.

Very cool news. Nismo has a factory effort coming together for Europe. The European GT-R is a beast. I'm guessing the World Challenge car will be tamer. There was an R34 in world challenge a few seasons back. I never saw much of that car. I was really looking forward to seeing an R34 on track.

I"d love to see a GT-R in the American LeMans Series.

I remember back in the day when I was on Automotiveforums.com, and the guy who started the forum Igor Sushko brought the first gt-r to the World Challenge. I don't think he ever really made a dent though due to the age of his car.

He destroyed one of the 2 GT-R's he had, a week or two at Moroso before Sebring.
The problem he had and the new car will have is weight (pig heavy) and inlet restricted.
I wish them luck.

Should be fun to see them run ... Tony Rivera is pretty aggressive so he should be a good match for a good showing with the GT-R's as long as they can get them sorted out ...

I just hope its not a come and go effort ... Lexus had the new car out, saw it run 2 races and now its for sale ... same as some other teams ...

I tried looking for the rules on the GT-R, but its not listed. So the closest I can estimate is a weight of at least 3350 lbs. and boost press between 2300 & 2800 mbar. Based on the Volvo S-60 AWD and the Porsche 996 TT AWD.
