Default Six Speed Mounts nearly ready!

Trying to get these finished up and they're nearly done.

Kit will include 4 pieces for $550+shipping
    Trans mount with Prothane insert
Trans bracket, to replace OEM Trans bracket
    Rear crossmember mount
    Rear Trans bracket

The kit uses the same rear Trans bracket as the crossmember delete kit, but replaces the factory rear mount with our semi-solid mount. The transmission side uses a prothane insert and new Trans bracket to eliminate the pull through issues on previous six speed designs. A discount will be given on the front dog bone mount if purchased in conjunction with this kit.

    A few progress pics:

This picture shows the problem with using the factory spec v Trans bracket. It's too wide, and allows the mount to side out.

Need some sort of verification that I'm not forgotten about or hoodwinked for 2 kits. We are not talking small beans here if you do the math.

    @BenFenner

Can anyone get a hold of him and have him chime in please? I know his daughter was hospitalized, but his domain going down is really worrying me as I've already paid... A few months ago and have barely even gotten a pm since payment.

Not saying hurry up (though it would be nice) just let me know you haven't fallen off the face of the planet.

Yah, his daughter being hospitalized is a little bit of an understatement.

@zeneffect I apologize. My plate has been pretty full. I'm missing convention this year as well, which is not like me. Mounts are ready to ship. You have a PM.

Thanks Josh and Ben for reaching out to me. I'm definitely not out to screw anyone.

It was not my intent to sound like you were trying to screw me. It was the exact opposite in fact. I understand you have the weight of the world on your shoulders right now, just wanted to be sure I didn't slip through the cracks.

I'm glad you replied, and you have a PM.

    So yea... Shipping?

This transaction has been going on for over 3 months. If parts are finished, why are you not shipping, or arranging to have someone ship for you? These are literally the last thing that is holding up both mine and Josh's swap. Getting a little anxious to say the least... To the point where I will just buy 2x mazworx kits and cancel this order/refund if this does not get resolved really soon.

Please reply, as I've stated previously I don't do Facebook so if there are any updates there I have absolutely no clue. The touch and go communication I've had with you this far has proven to be insufficient, and the forums are my only means of communication to you. Just let us know that all is well and pm me the tracking info please.

Mounts were completed this a.m. I only had everything mocked up on the 20th, it takes time to finalize things. I'm sending you the mock up mount in the picture to save you some headaches. I want you to realize that these are the first two complete sets that have been made. The only mounts before these were just ideas/prototypes. I think I did really well to get these out in 3 months considering the circumstances, hope you enjoy them. Let me know when you get them in how everything works out.

    DOES NOT FIT

seriously, this is some BS. These parts should at the VERY least somewhat fit and line up properly, neither mounts do either. One flat out does not fit, the other interferes with the block... making 2 out of 2 kits worthless. Where do we go from here?

Make this right! Also when designing these parts, it might be a good idea to have the motor bolted up to the transmission as well, you have caused an interference with the block and driveshaft loop on both kits. yes they were both test fitted, yes time was wasted testing this due to lack of due diligence in fabrication and measurement.

Did this ever end up getting sorted out? the mounts in those last pictures look horrendous... were they fucked up in shipping or something?

no not yet. Performance Plus once again has posession of the mounts and they should be getting corrected to something that resembles an acceptable mount. FWIW, this is the 2nd time ive shipped them to Performance Plus. The first time, they were refused and sent back because they were in disbelief that someone knows how to use a ruler. Now that pictures are provided, they finally accepted them back (after spending $100 in shipping them twice)

Hopefully, the wait wont be too bad this time. If you are interested in a set, ill have 2x available, brand new, never used once these come back. Given the experience I've had with them, I will never put a single part from them on my car.

Copied from the product reviews thread:

Ok. I finally got the chance to take a look at what's up with these. The bushing is crooked on one of the rear crossmember mounts which causes everything else to look crooked. However, it did bolt in just fine. There's enough play in the bushing that everything was able to be bolted together with no issues. I am sending you a new mount regardless.

The "loop" mount that bolts to the block, we've been having issues with it hitting exactly where you pointed out, you failed to mention that one of them worked just fine, and that the other was hitting. Some positive feedback, and test fits, would have gone a lot further had they been done earlier. Anyways, that has been taken care of and your mounts will be modified to fix the issue. You'll have them back next week sometime.

I apologize for the trouble, but this thread is extremely misleading and over exaggerated. The mounts do bolt in, the only issue was the "loop" mount which has been taken care of. I understand that they don't look perfect, but they will be fully functional and ready to be bolted in on their return. I am going to copy this information into the Performance Plus section and thread.
