Installing P.S. Rack.
Want to tackle this ASAP. Has anyone done one? Should I take two days in case of any mishaps? Can I get it done in one day?

I'm extremely mechanically inclined. ...
But have never done a Rack.

guess im just asking how your experience was doing it and any issues that may arise? And how long did it take you?

I did it in a few hours, but the car was up on a lift where I could work standing up.

If the car is on stands I would definitely take the two days, one to work on it and then the second to go get it aligned.

Hardest part for me was putting the rack as close to even on both sides as possible and put the U joint, or whatever it's called, back on the steering column properly so that the wheel would be as straight as possible before going for the alignment.
From there you just have to twist and turn the rack so it comes out; I did it through the drivers side.

Wow. Would not like to do that again. Don't know if there were any tricks to but took me 6 hours total. About 3 1/2 to 4 hrs working time to do it. And i had it on a lift.

I took my engine out. I was doing clutch and flywheel up grade so I figured i should just pull it. I have no Idea how people do it on Jack stands. I didn't have a lift so I wasn't going to struggle with it like that.
