NX1600 2.0 Conversion?
After looking at countless rotted NX2000s I finally found a clean one, but it's a ga16. The owner even reinforced the rear strut towers. First one I've seen that isn't rotted.

I'd just like some feedback on what I'm getting myself into with a 1600 and wanting to put a ve in it.
Car is a manual and I have a B15 tranny, clutch, and flywheel. I know I need to convert to hydro clutch, and mount the shifter myself. Read the write up before.

Would I be able to use b14 motor mounts and harness? Local u pull it has them. I also have B15 mounts laying around, but no engine brackets. I have 2 not so great b15 harnesses and b14 ecu also. I do want to run nismotronic, so a b13 harness is probably my easiest option if I can find one. Rewiring is not a problem for me.

Would it be wise to go with this one or wait until I find a nx2000 around spring, where my budget could just buy me a swapped NX?
Thanks

B14 Mounts - Yes
B14 Harness - Yes but would require a wire overhaul

Find EXACTLY what you want - it is always worth the wait.

Been looking all year for nx's and I might end up buying 3 of them this week lol. 1 nx1600 with a decently clean body that runs. A 150 dollar nx1600 shell, and a beyond rotted nx2000. All 3 together with a ve and b15 tranny will be a dream come true
Still need to check out the $150 shell and figure out the price on the 2000. It's been sitting on a lot for a few weeks, hopefully they don't want anything for it.

Bought the car today. 1500 for a running one and a rolling shell. Made a whopping 87hp on the dyno, 93 torque. I'll post the chart when I get it printed out. Will make a build thread some time this week.

B14/B13 motor mounts will fit perfectly.

Get B13 harness, its always safe.

If you are planning to sell that digi gauge with speed sensor, lmk.

I may consider selling one of them considering I'll have 2 after this shell
