Where do U.S. owners buy stock sized tires?
I'm looking for some tires for the NX for the stock rims, and cannot find a place so far that sells new 195/55 205/55 or 205/50 14s or anything close.

So far I only found a few Kuhmos and Falken Ziex on eBay in 195/60 and that's it?

Check these places.

www.tirerack.com (Edit: doesn't have anything useful in those sizes)
www.discounttiredirect.com (Edit: doesn't have anything useful in those sizes)
www.1010tires.com (Edit: doesn't have anything at all in those sizes)
www.vulcantire.com (Edit: doesn't have anything at all in those sizes)
www.tires-easy.com (Edit: doesn't have anything at all in those sizes)
www.edgeracing.com (No longer in business, here for historic records)

Edit: Just kidding, unless you want a full race tire or a drag radial, these places are not carrying your size. Time to get creative. (I wonder what they'd recommend if you called a Nissan dealership.)

Tire Rack and Discount Tire have some good choices for 185/60-14 and 195/60-14. Forget about 195/55-14, there hasn't been anything street tire wise in that size for a while now. Play with this Tire and Wheel upgrade calculator. By Mark Sink

Thanks for confirming my fears Chris. I thought so. I'm still hoping for something in a 205 size, combing Craigslist and looking for something used too. I've had very good luck with that.

Onlinetires.com

Search for 195/60/14 and you will have 4 pages of options.

A couple years ago there was a 195/55/14 Toyo T1R but I don't think they make them anymore. Could be wrong.

On my NX I have 195/60/14 BFGoodrich G-Force Super Sport all seasons. I love them. They are pricey for a 14'' tire but I have been so happy with them. Great traction year round. They have good grip but don't feel heavy/numb like Falken Azenis do.

When I had the hardtop I had 2 sets of NX wheels. One set for shitty cheap all seasons and one set for Falken Azenis. I really liked having 2 sets and if I still drove hard often or autocrossed I would do that again.

How often do you plan on driving hard? I have put 19k miles on my BF Goodrich tires and they have a ton of life left. I don't go carve corners every day like I used to, but on rare days that I don't have a car full of dogs, these tires are fun enough and a great fit for my stock-suspension NX. The shoulders haven't mushed/melted like shitty all seasons do when you push them too hard.

Welcome to the age where getting 14's, and now 13's is nearly impossible it sucks for old car owners that they are barley making tires anymore. I Know a guy from russia that can get tires in the sizes we want from out of country >.> few online retailers do as well. It just sucks, once the 13's on my 510's are gone dont know what ill do luckily i have a extra set of 13's for the blue 510 and it gets driven less than 5k a year so. Should last a long time.

I'm not buying Russian tires. Or crazy off-brand Mexican tires or anything gray market.

I'm looking real hard at those super sports though Burt. I've had a few sets and really good all-season tire imo.

PArt of me just thinks its time to buy some 15s. Then I'd be leaning toward Dunlop Direzzas since this car won't see Winter.
