Thread: NX value going up?

I never expect the NX to be worth any crazy dollar amount even with the rarity of them.

But I swear it was around a year ago I checked and it was blue booking at around $600.

Was reading a post by another member about their classic being totaled it it was now considered classic and was worth around $4,300.

I pulled up KBB and Clean private party value is up to $1,639.

NADA which as I understand it is better for "classic" car values is $2,025 - $4,225.

Both a marked increase from the last time I checked them. Guess the days of booking at $600 as a departing nx'er recently said are over.


BTW a 93 NX with fewer miles on it has a high retail of $1,825 on NADA and $1,714 on KBB

i never expect them to worth what like a 65 mustang is worth these days but it is nice to know the market is value is going up

Well Nothing will ever be like the "classics".

Those cars from that era are works of art. I don't see a 90 mustang ever being like a 65 no matter how old it gets.


But value going up is good. It might save more of them from the crusher if people look it up and see they are worth more.

They're about the same for the last few years here in Finland

NX1600 - starting from 400€ (500$) - true throwaway car here, most people sell them pretty beat up, with 300 000 km on the clock. Nicest go for 2000€(2600$) , 130 000km on the clock (less beat up :P)

NX2000 - RARE, never sold directly, only imported - starting from 2000€ (2600$) -pretty bad condition, solid ones go waay up in price, mainly because of rarity
Only about 40 NX2000 in Finland left..

I agree with you, the value is going up. I checked about a year ago and a car with my mileage, in the condition that it is in, was worth like $900. Now it says up to $1866. Sweet. I don't plan on getting rid of her of course, but it's nice to know the value is going up.

Thread from the dead - sorry - but worth noting.. I can confirm this, insurance totaled out my NX, tried to give me $1500, I sent them some craigslist ads and they upped it to $3500.

this is why ive kept my rust free crap bucket parts car. its ugly, sprayed rattle can black, almost nothing left of the shell, but IF something ever happens to by 93 saphire nx, i can just strip it down repaint it and put it all back together again.
