One-piece carbon fiber t-top inserts?
would anyone want one? I have gained some composites experience and I plan to make one for myself. I feel the car could greatly benefit from the loss of weight up top. It would lower the CG and eliminate leaks all at once.

I'll figure out what the price difference is, but fiberglass may end up being the logical option. Once I have a mold made though, I could make carbon if someone wanted to pay for it.

WILL... If you can do this I will be interested. Knowing how these kinds of things go around here, especially with the NX.. I can say I will take my time to save up. This would be an amazing part if we did not have to worry about T top seals. Of course the main thing is pricing, and I can already see this being a complicated piece, but it would be so worth it. My main concern would be how this piece would hold up to chassis flex as this is a kind of critical piece when you think about it.

Another interesting thing to consider. How are you planning on going about having these fasten?
