Chances are it's already maxed out & stretched.Order a new cable.

Either what he said or the piston in the rear caliper(s) are done. I had that problem and even after replacing the caliper, the car still rolled. Changed the cable, car still moved foward. Conclusion, caliper was rebuilt wrong. A1 Cardone agreed and the caliper was replaced and walla!

Remove the plastic center console away from the parking brake lever and you will find a 10mm nut on the end of the cable that you can tighten. Tighten the cable that way, and you should be fine. There is no reason to assume just yet that you're at the end of cable adjustment or that there is anything wrong with the calipers.

also if you're rear brakes are getting thin might not be clamping down well....this with needing adjustment means you roll =(
but start with what BenFenner said and then at least check the rear pads.....my handle came up half as much after i changed my rear pads after i got my nx

This is where a fsm comes in handy..... get one !!!! 2 screws hold the back of it.. there are also 2 screws beneath the rectangle cover that you need to pop up under the ebrake handle. There are 2 screws holding the front sides down or its fitted into place, can't remember
