B13 NX brake question
I just got through replacing my 20 year old brake calipers on my NX2K and it went really well. I read the service manual and I have it airtight but when I came to the section on brake pedal height and run out it said see S.D.S. What is SDS and why did they not put this information into the FSM. I am needing to know brake pedal adjustment on B13s and what is considered spec? I guess my brake pedal felt so firm when I first got the car because they calipers were shot and the brake fluid was water but I have great brakes now EBC red stuff with centric zinc coated calipers.

thanks for the help

Don't worry about what ever the sds thingy is. If the pedal is firm and you don't have to pump the brakes you are good

it turned out to be the pads not bedded in yet. I have EBC red stuff and they have 2-3 mm of some sort of coating on them to help them bed in combined with me not turning my rotors this led to the pedal feeling mushy for the first 100-150 miles. thanks for the reply.

they bite a lot better now.

I just put the nx brakes on and everything seem to go on well. The only issue is that now when I brake I have to pump the brakes like twice so that is gets the pressure and suggestions?
