Ya not feeling it.. But if it has a purpose which it does then it good. It's love it or hate it but who gives a Funk as long as u ok with it.

Plus it's a project so it makes it fun to do

Not bad happynole, I've been trying to come up with ways of doing something similar with my car. I'm too broke to afford a CF vented hood, so I'm going to modify mine at some point hopefully...

Good work, are you planning a rad exhaust too?

Yes, the tape is marking the target area behind the rad and in front of the engine

If it's not too late, try and cut it as close to the VC as you can for the best flow. And you only need about 4 inches of width. Any bigger and it is just extra hole that doesn't get much flow. It looks like thats what you have got anyways, but when I did mine I cut more than necessary and that metal is harder to put back than it is to cut LOL

Worked on this some more today.

First ground down those hood ribs for a clean opening and then firmly attached via rivets:

Then painted with Duplicolor AH3:

Happynole, where did you source that air duct?

Also, any updates on the radiator exhaust in the middle of the hood?
