Speedo Cable
So on the way back from Huntsville my speedo started to work (showing seeds above 55) I went out for a quick spin sun and it went completely. Latter in the day I pulled the cable from the tranny side and parts cable and the metal pin that mated to the tranny just came out. Looks like the cable is complete toast. I have looked at parts store sites and rock auto and I can't find a speedo cable. So I was wondering what does it take to switch to electronic? I know I would need a new cluster and sensor but what about the harness? Would a completely new harness be needed or new ecu etc? I could find people going from electronic to analog but not the reverse. If it is posted I apologize for my weak searching skills.

Isn't a new cable like $40 from Nissan?
SHAFT ASSY-FLEXIBLE,SPEEDOMETER - Sentra (B13) 1991-1994 :: Nissan Parts, NISMO and Nissan Accessories - Courtesyparts.com

But to convert to electronic, I believe you just need one of the plugs on the back of the cluster, that would contain the pins for the electronic pinion.
TBH, I'm not completely sure, but I believe it'd be the same process as if you were switching from an analog speedometer to a digital one(the famous nx1600 cluster)( <--- I know there's quite a bit of info on that swap)

I didnt think about checking the digital cluster install how to. I will check that out. If it is fairly easy and doesnt require a hug investment I think I would rather go to the electronic but thx for showing me where to get one if I can't/decide not to.

Regarding swap to electronic:

Some rewiring is needed, as the clusters have a different layout. You also need an electronic speed sensor (Do a search on Rockauto for the 1992 Sentra SE-R (NOT the NX! It'll give you the "digital" speed sensor, required for the digital cluster)).

Finally, you need to pull a wire from the speedsensor to the cluster, and plug them in the pins for the speed-signal.

Also, if you need one, I still have a left-over speedo cable from my analogue to digital swap. I'm located in The Netherlands, though.
