Brakes
Ok, I have a 93 Nx and I have abs, but I want to delete it, do I get new calipers? If so I can just throw on se-r rear brake setup, cuz i have a full setup laying around, and just leave stock front brakes? Also If I want to buy new rotors what sizes do I get.

Thanks

Deleting ABS consists of routing the brake lines directly from the master cylinder to the brake calipers, and by-passing the ABS hydraulic control unit. You can also remove the ABS sensors if you'd like. Brake calipers, rotors, etc. all can stay.

Edit: Looks like you'll need to swap to a non-ABS master cylinder though.

Just remove the sensors, it is way easier.

Just pull the ABS fuses from the engine bay and ABS computer from under the dash on the Right side of the passenger cabin (located right where a passenger's right foot will hit the wall).

If you want to truly remove ABS you need a new master cylinder, NON abs lines and a non abs distribution block..
I have the block for sale if you like $15 shipped

The lines GREGv said are no longer carried by nissan but you can get them on here used.

This thread should tell you everything you need to know.

If all the lines are already bent, it would be much easier.

Bending hard brake lines is tedious, time-consuming and un-godly boring.

.....my old nx had abs....the fuse was pulled...one day i had some electrical porblems...and saw that there was no fuse in the ABS spot...i put one in,drove to work and the brake peadal started to THROB and PULSATE like a mother fucker when i applied the brakes....scared the SHIT outa me...and i had to literally STEP,(all force, moving me outa my seat to stop)....almost blowing a redlight.. skidding to a stop as the tires where chirping.

needles to say the next parking lot i pulles the fuse out and never had a problem again...

make sure you take the time,do it right, dont put you or anyones life in danger.
