Ugh Stolen head unit.
Yup. got ripped off last night or the night before. I was out of town so I don't know when. Today walked out and found a surprise. A shredded center console trim. Luckily the rest looks ok and I have acess to a parts car but still...

It was such a chitty head unit I thought "Why bother pulling the face plate?" They took the converter harness too so I think its another B13 person who is rocking out with my head unit now.

anyway they pulled the window down and probably used a coat hanger to pull the lock.

What do you guys do to lock it up?

i would rathe rleave my nx unlocked an able to get into for somasshole to steal **** than to have them break ANY window to get in....i cant imagine having to find a driver or pass side window for an nx.....that would be ****ty

I would leave it unlocked if it came to it. I'd rather get a good alarm, and fix this ****ing window. The goddam pass window (that the pulled down) whistles on the highway now. It also sits funny.

Dang it I knew NXs were rare but i never thought about theiving assholes.

Atleast they didn't break ur window like they did mine. I know it sucks cause we all work so hard for what we got.

Well a stock head unit is going back in soon. They were kind enough to take all the wires/connectors nice and clean. Maybe another B13 is sporting my deck. The center dash trim was re-installed from Leng's parts car. An ample supply of old school jungle tapes and NPR/talk radio will suffice. Burt's head unit honestly confused my old stupid ass.

Burt: I did the hatch struts, re-installed the interior, fixed the intake, installed ground wire kit and cleaned all the factory grounds. The speaker was fixed today with the wires/connectors from that door you gave me. Now the other three speakers need fixing. The cold start issue diagnosed; air regulator. I don't want to fix that until I get it on the lift. Ugh pita fix but luckily Leng has 2-3 of them laying around.

The door sensor needs the rubber piece to work right. That's why the alarm was fussy. Installing power doorlocks/upgraded alarm, cruise control, dash, and maybe power windows this Winter.
Lots more stuff was done but the axle and the exhaust are highest priority. May get the engine steamed its mucky in there. B14 ps resevoir going in soon. T25s are also cheap and easy.

Oh when was the fuel filter done last? BTW I love the rims. Even the ugly one. My gf likes the silver ones and my friends like the black ones.

An aftermarket tape deck with a tape adapter hooked to an MP3 player will sound 10x better than stock head unit, and nobody will mess with it. My car has been sitting on the mean streets of D.C. for 4 years with a Pioneer tape deck that I got off of Ebay for $20.
