Multiple n00b questions...
I'm just now joining the ranks of NEMU owners, my unit just arrived in the mail today. Got a few questions I haven't seen answers for, so I figured I'd post a thread.

I just ordered a PLX DM6 kit for Wideband. I didn't look at it too closely, and I'm wondering if I made a mistake getting this one. I was hoping to be able view the gauge, and also have it feed data to the NEMU. But now I'm not sure if that is possible to have both at the same time? Does anyone have this, or a similar model, and can confirm?

Second question, I've found a few threads here that talk about electronic speed sensors to replace the mechanical one. I'm considering ditching the stock instrument console, and mounting a tablet to get all the data direct from the ECU, but the mechanical speedo needs the console to generate a speed signal for the ECU, unless I can find an appropriate sensor for my '91 B13. Is there a recommended part # for this?

Last, for now, is there a way to tie in an oil pressure/temp sensor easily? Is the ADC board the only way to do this, or is there anything on the stock harness that can be repurposed to leave the ADC inputs free?

Engine is SR20DE Roller Rocker, typical bolt ons, NA. No air conditioning, no power steering.

"0-5V analog output interfaces with 3rd party ECU’s and data loggers"

Compatible with ecu. you will get ecu input and gauge at the same time.

Talk to Dala about the speedo, he did a gps unit that was nifty and cheap.

I think the only way you will get oil press/temp into nemu will be adc box.

Very cheap to achieve, you just need an arduino+gps unit. Should cost you about <17$ to build. It is a bit tricker to fully delete the cluster, since you need to generate a pulse train instead of a sine wave. It is doable, but requires some fiddling. I will be releasing some finished code soon, but that is for keeping the cluster. You have any programming experience?

Temps can sometimes be tied into the stock harness (depends on your ECU). It all depends on what sensor you have.
Pressure needs to be connected into ADC box and scaled according to your sensor resolution.

Gobs of programming experience. I've forgotten more programming languages than most people know.

But, like I said, my ultimate goal is to delete the gauge cluster. It's a track car, and right now is just zip tied in place. The only things I can't get out of the ECU by itself at present seem to be speed (if cluster is removed), and the fuel level, which I think I should be able to rig up a level sender for the ADC input.
