Nismotronic/NEMU options and capabilities request
Hi,

I’m pretty close of buying a full RT package (As soon as my uncle Enrique comes to visit us here in Chile which should be pretty soon) So I though I'll just ask all the doubts I have left in a single thread:

-I have an old aussie Techedge wideband (2A0) which has a 0-5V output. Will I be able to log that on the NEMU? I see there’s a dropdown list for widebands but none says “Techedge” or something like that.

- An old Subaru my dad used to have, had an awesome feature that I love to see implemented on my car. I wonder if Nismotronic can do it... Essentially every time you floored it when the A/C was on, it shut the compressor down for as long as the WOT lasted, as soon as you lifted the throttle from the WOT it engaged it again… Can I program the A/C control to be off while WOT?

- My particular came with JDM OBD 1 non speed limited ECU which has on pin 33, a 12 V input. This raises the idle 150 RPMs whenever the headlights or defroster is set to on. Will that input/feature be available and controllable via NEMU?

- The original ECU that came in my car is a 23710-3J905 / A18-F90 C63 (Looks like a B14 ECU inside) Can I install the NEMU board in it? If not, Will it be available to install in the near future?

- I have a Blitz R-Vit type-II (specially for OBD 1 Nissan vehicles via consult port) which I love because shows me real time ECU data in a pretty small display. Is the consult stream affected by NEMU? If it is, Do you think it will be possible to bypass the cable(s) via switch inside the ECU so they are available only when a Laptop is connected? (I’m pretty good at soldering electronics). Or it will impede the correct operation of the NEMU board without them cables hooked all the time?

Thanks in advance

First off, thank you for your interest in our product. I will try to answer these questions to the best of my ability.

You can program the ADC input for any wideband by using the "CUSTOM" option and scaling it however you wish.

Yes, you are able to disable the AC via TPS and RPM if you wish.

I haven't had a chance to test this input or feature on the JDM ECU, so I can't comment on this!

At this point if it is a "B14" style ECU, then it is not supported right now. It may be supported in the future.. but generally it is easier at this point to use a B13 ECU.

Yes, this will still work with the current firmware.. BUT with the SA version it will NOT retain the stock consult protocol, so this would not work.

Wow, lightning fast response thank you. What's the diference between current and SA version?

The cable/switch bypass then it's not an option for the SA version?

Will there be a workaround about the consult stream? (Even an Android device with live data/gauges? would be extra cool for the Gauge loving freaks like mois )

The SA version will have a TON more features (speed density, electronic boost control, anti lag, and the list goes on).

There will not be a work around unfortunately for the consult stream.. but we will be supporting the TunerView RD1 LCD display so it you are interested in doing an LCD check that out!

That'll do! Price for the display thingy? How will it connect with the ECU. Consult port?

Nevermind, found all the info about the RD1. Is there a release date for it?

The RD1 is already available and does support the current version of NismoTronic.

JK TUNING at this point do you think that the NEMU with the new filmware, software (SA) will be capable of tuning just on TPS. My question comes since I am ALL Motor and want to tune on ITB's if its possible!!
Let me know
Thanks
