Thread: Nemu adc 5v out only putting 1.8v out

Is there something wrong with my adc breakout unit. I got 14v going in at 12v in but at the 5v out , its only putting 1.8v out. The voltage regulator is running hot too. I am thinking of using power steering signal from ecu for my 5v input.

I believe we ran into this problem once before on some of the earlier batches of the breakout boxes.

There is a capacitor that is likely installed backwards.

Shoot moates support an email and I am sure they will gladly direct you on the best course of action to take and/or send you a new one!

If you desolder and flip that cap around, you should be good to go, if you aren't comfortable with doing that, definitely let me or Moates know.

Yes, mine is the one with wired incorrectly. I never solder something this small. I don't know the schematic either. Can I just send it to you?
