Power steering pump died a few days ago. Will continue to put power steering fluid into the system.

Haven't had very much time or money to spend on the car. Now it is not running though due to the air compressor locking up and breaking the alternator belt. If anyone knows of anyone selling an air compressor/parting out a car then let me know.

Did get my car running about one week ago. I used a shorter belt from a b13 sentra with no a/c, and bypassed the A/C compressor. I also did get an A/C compressor from a b15 with a ga engine. From what i saw online it looks like it is interchangeable with the sr20 one, can anyone confirm this for sure?

I haven't attempted to put the A/C Compressor on the car. But did do some stuff in the last week. The power steering pump wasn't the problem. It was the high pressure power steering hose. I replaced it with a custom made hose made at a local shop (couldn't find oem part except for with an insanely high price.) I didn't take any pictures of the hose or removing it but I did get the car up on ramps/jack stands.

I also put in an ebay short shifter I had that was originally going to go onto a b14 but never did.
Photo from under the car with oem shifter(heat shield already removed)

After denting heat shield:

And images from top:

I had bent the shifter back, and it is hard to tell but you can still see in this picture that 3rd gear is hitting the trim inside car(car is in third):

I also removed the bumper to fix the problems it has mounting

There is very little surface rust on the bumper reinforcement which you can kind of see in that picture, but i did spray paint over that, just to prevent it becoming worse(not a huge problem in South Carolina, just did while I have bumper off)

Here are some pictures of how bad the bumper currently is. My guess is previous owner was attempting an oil change or something and just hit the bumper against a ramp or something like that and it didn't cause a huge problem until I got the car.

Lots of gremlins to take care of before you get into the fun stuff.
It'll be worth it. Keep on trucking.

And hello from Worst Carolina.

I did get the bumper back on the car. Passenger side doesn't look quite right. It's probably about a centimeter off at the most. But it is held on a lot better than it has been since i've had the car, and it isn't noticeable without looking for it. Also my check engine light turned on again. Will see what the problem is.
Pictures of bumper:

The bumper is just dirty in that last picture. There is nothing wrong with the paint in some of those spots.

I'm taking my mirrors to school with me to paint them. I am painting both because the passenger side is kind of chipped and messed up a little bit and I want them to match afterwards. Still going to leave them qt1, although I kind of wanted to repaint them black at first. I haven't taken any before pictures of them I'll try to do that before I do anything.
